The reality behind the diagnosis

Every 2 minutes, a woman in Germany receives a cancer diagnosis.

Over 80%

Of my clients are women navigating the emotional shock and uncertainty of cancer.

30+ years

Of nursing and palliative care experience. I've witnessed what the system provides, and what it doesn't.

100%

of the women I work with describe feeling deeply seen, held, and emotionally safe throughout our process.

But here's what the statistics don't tell you:

  • How isolated you feel, even surrounded by people who love you
  • How terrifying it is to lose your sense of self in the middle of treatment decisions
  • How desperately you need someone who won't just tell you what to do but will listen to what you feel

That's where I come in.

A calm, compassionate presence when the world feels overwhelming.

“Come home to yourself, I’ll walk with you. Because even after a diagnosis, you are not lost.
There is always a way and you don’t have to walk it alone.”

– Sonja Christina

I know what you're carrying.

You're feeling...

Overwhelmed by decisions, appointments, conflicting advice, and everyone's opinions about what you should do.

Disconnected, from yourself, your body, your truth. Like you're watching your life happen to someone else.

Afraid, not just of the diagnosis, but of losing yourself in the process. Of never feeling like "you" again.

Alone, even with people around you. Because no one really understands what this feels like from the inside.

Unheard, in a medical system that moves fast, talks at you, and leaves little room for your emotions or questions.

Exhausted from holding it together, from being strong, from pretending you're okay when you're not.

What becomes possible:

Instead of Overwhelm →
You find emotional clarity and the ability to make decisions from a grounded place.

Instead of disconnection →
You reconnect with your inner truth and feel like yourself again.

Instead of fear →
You access a deeper trust in yourself and your path, whatever it may be.

Instead of loneliness →
You feel deeply seen, held, and accompanied through this terrain.

Instead of silence →
You have a safe space to express everything  the anger, the grief, the hope, the confusion.

Instead of exhaustion →
You release the emotional weight you've been carrying and return to inner calm.

This transformation doesn't require you to be positive, productive, or perfect. It simply requires you to show up, exactly as you are.

A Gentle Path through Deep Terrain

My work is not about fixing you. It's about creating space for you to feel, release, and return to your own inner wisdom.

Through a trauma-informed, intuitive approach rooted in The Journey Method by Brandon Bays, we move through three natural phases:

Creating safety and space

PAUSE & PRESENCE

We begin by slowing down. Your nervous system softens. The emotional noise quiets. In this calm, compassionate space, everything is welcome, no pressure, no agenda, no judgment.

What happens: You feel safe enough to breathe. To be honest, To stop performing.

Grounding and living the shift

INTEGRATION & EMBODIMENT

The insights you gain become lived experience. Through reflection, compassionate check-ins, and grounding practices, you carry this transformation into your daily life.

What happens: You move forward with renewed strength, self-trust, and inner peace, no matter what the path ahead holds.

Exploring and releasing what's ready

INNER JOURNEY

Through gentle guidance, we explore the emotional root of what's arising. Suppressed feelings of grief, fear, shame, anger are safely accessed, expressed, and released.

What happens: Profound emotional relief. The weight you've been carrying begins to lift. Clarity emerges.

This is not a quick fix. It's a return to your essence.

How we can work together

Not sure which is right for you?

We'll talk about where you are, what you need, and whether my work is the right fit.

What I believe and what I'm building

I believe every woman facing a life-altering diagnosis deserves dignity, choice, and the space to feel
what is real. I am building a sacred and non-judgmental sanctuary to offer the humanity and emotional presence the clinical system often lacks.

This space is dedicated to helping them reconnect with their truth and reclaim their inner peace and clarity.

My Vision

A world where no woman facing a cancer diagnosis feels alone, unheard, or disconnected from herself.

A world where emotional healing is valued as deeply as medical
treatment.

A world where every woman knows: there is always a way and you don't have to walk it alone.

Impact I’m Creating

Through my work, women experience:

Profound emotional release and relief
A return to inner calm, clarity, and self-trust
The courage to walk their path with dignity, whatever it holds
Connection to their own truth and inner guidance
Transformation from survival mode to empowered presence

This isn't just about individual healing.

It's about changing the conversation around diagnosis, illness, and what true support looks like.

It's about honoring the inner world as much as the physical.

It's about creating a legacy of presence, compassion, and deep listening for every woman who needs it.

I've been where you are.

I'm not speaking from theory. I've walked this path, as a daughter who lost her mother to cancer, as a friend who held her best friend's hand through her final breath, and as a nurse who witnessed the system's limitations for over 25 years.

I know what you need because I once needed it myself.

This is not clinical. It's deeply human.

You won't find sterile advice or detached professionalism here. My work is warm, intuitive, and rooted in presence. I don't see you as a "case" I see you as a whole person navigating one of life's most vulnerable moments.

I hold space for what the medical system cannot.

The system treats bodies. I hold space for souls. For the grief no one talks about. For the fear that keeps you awake. For the anger you're not "supposed" to feel. For the truth beneath the diagnosis.

I don't give advice. I help you hear yourself.
You don't need someone else's answers, you need space to access your own inner wisdom. My role isn't to tell you what to do. It's to help you reconnect with what you know to be true.

I'm trained, accredited, and deeply experienced.

About Sonja

The moment that changed everything

For over 25 years, I worked as a nurse. I accompanied countless people through illness, aging, and the final stages of life.

But nothing prepared me for the moment the doctor told my
mother she had cancer.

His words were cold. Final. I sat beside her not only as her daughter, but as a nurse with decades of experience. And yet, I felt powerless. There was no space for questions. No space for feeling. Just medical protocols and urgency.

In the months that followed, I cared for her at home while I was on sick leave myself, burned out and physically unwell. She died after nearly eight months and I was left shattered.

Not just by her death.

But by how little dignity, choice, and humanity we were given along the way.

A different goodbye

Years later, my best friend was diagnosed with terminal illness.
This time, it was different.

We discovered The Journey Method together and attended seminars side by side. We talked openly about death. About fear. About love. About everything we'd been told not to say.

I was present when she took her last breath.

And in that sacred moment, I understood what had been missing all along: Not more treatment. Deeper connection.

What I do now

Today, I offer the space I once needed myself.
A place where nothing has to be fixed, but everything can be felt.

Where you are met with compassion, presence, and unwavering respect for your path.

Where you don't have to pretend to be okay because being real is what heals.

I am a Certified Journey Practitioner, an Emotional Companion, and someone who knows from lived experience that even in life's most vulnerable moments, healing and wholeness are possible.

Before we work together

A gentle space to arrive, before the first step.

Most women don’t come to me because they’re “ready.”
They come because they’re tired.
Because they’ve been holding everything together.
Because they can’t hear themselves anymore.

This space is for that moment.

Before we ever speak, I invite you to pause.
Not to think about the next decision –
but to simply be with what’s already here.

No pressure. No fixing. No tools.
Just breath, softness, and a quiet voice reminding you:
You don’t have to carry this alone.

Start here:

A room just for you – to feel, to breathe, to arrive.

You don't have to do this alone.

If you've read this far, something inside you is saying yes.

Maybe you're not sure what you need yet but you know you need something.

That's enough.

You don't have to have it all figured out. You don't have to be ready. You just have to take the next step.

Let's talk.

There's no pressure. No sales pitch. Just honest, compassionate conversation.
